- Every site that processes, packs, stores or distributes product to Trader Joe’s is required to undergo an annual Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Benchmarked Audit.
- Trader Joe’s only buys products that are produced in FDA or USDA licensed and approved commercial manufacturing facilities.

Trader Joe’s brand products contain NO artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, MSG, added trans fats, dairy ingredients from rBST sources or genetically modified ingredients. Trader Joe’s brand products contain colors derived only from naturally available products.

All vendors must be prepared to provide nutritional analysis for the products they produce via a Third Party Laboratory Analysis. All Vendors must be prepared to provide a validated third party lab shelf life data analysis.
